Rising New Jersey hip-hop act Jonre Quest (18 yrs) entered the music scene with his mixtape Revenge of the Cartoon.

The theme of Revenge of the Cartoon was his fall from his personal relationships to his revenge and eventual rise based off of his musical passion. He recently released his debut official music video for the standout track, ”Lights Off (ft. Karen O)” , which depicts the journey he had to endure to end up in this music scene. Directed by Anthony Mormile, the video contrasts shots of his brutal past with his promising musical future. Jonre is currently making music at Syracuse University, where he produced the music video “Lights Off.”
